Ever heard of gluten free, eggless, butter-less, flourless, refined sugar free pineapple tarts made with artisanal dark chocolate and handmade from scratch pineapple paste? Nope? Well, here at Happy Cioccolato, we make your healthy, allergen friendly pineapple tart dream come true! :)

As compared to regular pineapple paste, we use 70% LESS sugar in our handmade jam. In addition, we only use low GI organic coconut sugar instead of regular sugar. Made with lots of patience and love, our pineapple paste is slowly cooked on the stove for hours.

Even without butter, egg, sugar and cornflour, taste and texture are not compromised in our healthy gluten free crust that is made of gluten free oats, our CLASSICO dark choco stoneground for more than 30 hours and dates. As there is no gluten, our crust batter is very delicate and it takes us several minutes to wrap and shape each pineapple ball. Lots of patience required here! :)

The result: A chocolatey, crumbly crust that melts in your mouth with a moist pineapple jam centre. Sweetness level = just nice. Guilt level = ZERO !!

Because we like things fancy, we added a dash of choco in the shape of a leaf on the top of each fortune ball before sprinkling gold dust all over it. Gold = more luck and don’t we all want more HUAT?! ;p

Each box comes with 12 balls (approx 22g each)

PS, no 2 balls are the same. Some might be rounder, some might be flatter, some might look like Ditto. We try our best to shape them as roundly as possible :)
